Civic Center BART Station

The Civic Center Station came into service on November 3rd, 1973, a little bit over a year after the first passenger service began on BART.

Though most of the BART train cars today are carpeted, the agency is planning on replacing all the carpets with resin-based composite flooring by 2011. [BART October 2008 Strategic Plan]
