As a citizen of the world, my name can be written in several different ways. Benjamin Tsai in English, 蔡秉志 (Cai Bing-Zhi) in Mandarin Chinese, サイ ヘイシ (Sai Heiji) in Japanese, 채병지 (Chae Byung-Ji) in Korean. Of course, you can just call me Ben.

- APA Family Support Services
- I volunteer with APA Family Support Services, a charitable non-profit in serving the Asian/Pacific community in San Francisco.
- Sailing
- I'm BK and BC certified with OCSC Sailing; I'm also a member of Cal Sailing Club and Berkeley Yacht Club. My sailboat is an Ericson 27 called Taiwan Lily berthed at Berkeley Marina.
- Aviation
- I'm a student pilot flying out of Oakland International Airport, training for private pilot certification.
